| A. | The ideas first emerged in mid 2007, the operating principles were then developed into a modus operandi and we are now in the process of actively building the Forum. |
| Q. | Why isn’t it the Best Practice Forum? |
| A. | We have deliberately chosen to avoid any claims to Best Practice because the subjective arguments about which practices are “best” would be counter-productive and get in the way of the urgent need for many people and organisations to start getting better at what they do. It’s not about lack of ambition. |

| A. | The Better Practice Forum was created because the innumerable best practice and better practice initiatives are usually disconnected from each other. Such “stovepipe” or “silo” thinking doesn’t serve anybody well, leading to disappointing outcomes.
The Better Practice Forum seeks to improve co-ordination and awareness of better practice by breaking down traditional boundaries between disciplines. |
